Megalomaniac Wineries Cabernet Sauvignon - Bravado

So I figured it was about time that I right another post about wine. The wine I am working on is a 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon from Megalomaniac wineries (my new favourite winery). It's called Bravado and, as usual, the bottle has a pretty snazzy label to go with the name.

So in one of my very first wine posts, I reviewed another wine from Megalomaniac called Pompous, a red blend, that I enjoyed. Bravado is a full bodied red wine, it has a dark fruity aroma and upon tasting it has hints of what I think are black current (dark berries) and just a little bit of spice. To me, it seems to be a medium on the tannin and acidity scale. Your mouth dries out and tingles a bit after drinking, but not totally. It would maybe be a bit too heavy for some people who prefer a lighter wine. Overall it's a pretty good wine, I would be more than happy with it if I ordered it in a restaurant, and I would buy it again (Pompous is still my favourite though).

The thing I like and appreciate the most is the attention to detail that they put into the bottle. From the fun names, to the labels and the foil and cork, everything is very well thought out, and you gotta figure if they are putting that much care into the bottle, the wine has to be great.

Happy Sipping!
